Through its subsidiaries, the Papua Mining Group holds eight Exploration Licences on New Britain island with a total area of 1,585 square kilometres.   In addition to the currently held ground, the Group has three licence applications pending in New Britain.

On the PNG mainland the Group holds a single licence, EL 1766 in the province of East Sepik.
